Cult-member mother kept rotting corpse of starved toddler in a suitcase
It's not Ria Ramkissoon's fault that her 1-year-old son was denied food and starved to death. The devil made her do it.
Members of the 1 Mind Ministries cult that Ria belonged to became furious when little Javon neglected to say "amen" after eating a meal like a good little cult member should. They believed this oversight meant that the child was a demon and stopped feeding him as punishment, which would have been fine if he was a demon, since spirits aren't known for their big appetites and there were plenty of wretched, sinful souls around to devour.
Instead, the toddler died of starvation a short time later. Oops!
Javon's mother left the body in an empty room for over a week before stuffing it into a suitcase that she opened and sprayed with disinfectant whenever the smell of decay became unbearable. The suitcase was later abandoned in a Philadelphia shed when the cult moved to Brooklyn, NY.
